About us

THE WORD:
"Islam" is an arabic word whose root (origin) is "salam" which is the same root of "salaam" the Arabic word for peace. Islam as a term refers to "submit to God".
Because we believe God has created us and everything in the world, we should obey Him and submit to His orders; which would lead to our welfare in this world and in the hereafter "life after death".
Those who believe in and follow Islam are called "Muslims"

The story

WHAT WE BELIEVE IN:
EVERY MUSLIM BELIEVES IN:
*Allah; our God and the only one God for everyone and everything everywhere in Earth and Heavens
*The Angels; creatures who absolutely obey Allah
*All Holy books and all messengers of Allah
*That Mohammad (PBUH) and the Quraan (the holy book sent from Allah with Mohammad (PBUH) is the final messenge to all mankind.
*Life after death: everyone would die and on the day of doom all will live again to face the consequence of their deeds; good or bad.
*Heaven and Hell in the other life

Broader than "the Religion of Mohammad"

The cornerstones

TO CONCLUDE:
  • Islam is to worship and follow the instructions of Allah
  • You need to believe that Allah is the only God and to believe in all messengers including Mohammad (PBUT)
  • You need to follow certain religious proceedings to worship God:
prayers, zakaa, fasting and Hajj (pilgrimage)
  • You need to remember Allah at all times and do everything (I mean your behaviour in all situations) according to the DOs and DON'Ts set by Allah
(detailed in the Quraan and sayings of Mohammad (PBUH))

If you follow, you will be rewarded by Paradise on the day of doom and be saved from Hell. Moreover, God will like you.
